MOSQUITO CONTROL

Get the yard back for the season.

Charleston's mosquito season runs longer than most — April through October isn't unusual. Treatment targets where mosquitoes actually rest and breed, not just a fog over the lawn.

What drives the yard problem

Where they're actually coming from

Standing water anywhere

Standing water anywhere

Gutters, plant saucers, low spots in the yard — it only takes a small amount of standing water to breed a batch.

Dense shrubs and shade

Dense shrubs and shade

Mosquitoes rest on the underside of leaves during the day — barrier treatment targets exactly this.

Evenings you can't use the yard

Evenings you can't use the yard

If dusk means going back inside, a monthly barrier treatment usually gets the yard back.

An outdoor event coming up

An outdoor event coming up

A one-time treatment a day or two before a wedding or party knocks down activity for the event window.

Treatment

How we treat the yard

A barrier treatment on foliage where mosquitoes rest, plus fixing the standing water that breeds the next batch.

Yard & foliage barrier

Monthly, April–Oct

Treatment on the underside of leaves and shaded rest areas around the yard perimeter.

Standing-water audit

A walk of the property for gutters, saucers and low spots — the source is often more useful to fix than to spray.

One-off event treatment

A single visit timed a day or two before a wedding, party or back-yard event.

Plans

Monthly during the season, or a single visit for an event — sized to your yard.

Questions we get every week

How soon before an event should I book?

A day or two ahead is usually enough — treatment knocks down activity fast for a single-event window.

Is it safe for a pool or garden?

Treatment targets foliage and rest areas, not open water or edible plants directly — we'll flag anything to keep clear.

Do I need a full season plan?

Not necessarily — a one-off works for an event, monthly works better if you use the yard all summer.

What if it's mostly standing water, not the yard treatment?

We'll tell you honestly — sometimes fixing a clogged gutter does more than a spray would.
